From the Mountain to the Sea
Mount Ruapehu andesite, totara and stainless steel.

This sculpture and 3 others by Daniel Clifford, Paul Dibble and Matt Pine were choosen to be made and shown for the Inaugural Wanganui District Council Sculpture Event 2010 currently showing on the riverbanks of the Whanganui River.
This sculpture was made in partnership with Max Cody, Kerry McDonnell and myself.

This sculpture represents the mountain the river and water travel. The shape of the 2 standing stones are the mountain the gap between is the river. This pays respect to the history of occupation and use of the Whanganui River.
